Steel-tipped ferrules in several sizes.
Powerful magnets are fitted
in the bases for picking up objects - such as
shotgun cartridge cases, keys, screws etc.
without having to bend down or put your hand in
nettles or other nasties!
to your own sticks in the same way as normal
because some of the space in the ferrule is taken
up by the magnets you can't fit quite as much of
the stick inside. This makes them slightly more
likely to come off, especially if pushed into soil.
I recomend using at least one pin in each ferrule
to help prevent this!
Use a centre punch (or sharpened 4" nail) and a
sharp tap from a hammer to punch a small hole
through the wall of the ferrule so the pin will go
at the bottom of the page.
